Houston Save The Date

Nib and Pixel is a full-service Graphic Design Studio based in Houston, Texas.  Consultations at our studio are by appointment only.  Our specialty is designing event stationery (but we also love logo design), calligraphy (we swoon over all those romantic swirls), hand-lettering, and paper arts.

Here at Nib and Pixel we are passionate about communicating the excitement and beauty of celebrations. Whether it be your wedding, your baby shower, your son's birthday party, your graduation... anything worth celebrating is worth an awesome invitation!

So please browse the site and email if you'd like to set up a consultation. We would love to hear all about your invitation and event ideas, and enjoy the thought of collaborating with you on something amazing.

The below are just a sampling of the places you might have seen us in print publications and on television.  In addition to these, we have also been featured in Us Weekly, The Knot Texas, Modern Luxury and other reputable magazines.  Online, you might have seen us on Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, Brides, Green Wedding Shoes, Inspired by This, Ruffled, Burnett's Boards, The Perfect Palette, and many more.

Houston Calligrpahy Studio

My name is Dionne Christiansen, and I am an Australian native based in Houston, Texas. I am a wife and a mother of two, and pretty much live and breathe anything design-related. I have a double bachelor's degree in Marketing and Graphic Design and have always had a slight addiction to all things paper (and also the three C's of Coffee, Chocolate and Cheese).

My graphic design journey began after college when I moved to Los Angeles, California and got my first "big girl job" working as an in-house designer for a specialty print-house. While living in L.A. I met a cool guy who ended up giving me a ring, and we moved to Houston where I began freelance designing for clients part-time and working as a wedding planner the rest of the time. Then in January 2013, we welcomed our little bean boy Dylan to the world and that's when I decided to plunge into my passion for design, paper and calligraphy full time. So shortly after Dylan, Nib and Pixel was born.
