Nib and Pixel is a full-service Graphic Design Studio based in Houston, Texas. Consultations at our studio are by appointment only. Our specialty is designing event branding and stationery, calligraphy (we swoon over all those romantic swirls), and painting commissions.
Here at Nib and Pixel we are passionate about communicating the excitement and beauty of celebrations. Whether it be your wedding, you store's grand opening, your baby shower, your son's birthday party, your graduation... anything worth celebrating is worth an awesome invitation!
We also specialize in live-event activations, so if you're a business owner wanting in-person painting or calligraphy for your special event, we are ready to work with you on something custom and unique to your brand and occasion.

My name is Dionne Christiansen, and I am an Australian native based in Houston, Texas. I am a wife and a mother of two, and pretty much live and breathe anything design-related. I have a double bachelor's degree in Business Marketing and Graphic Design and have always had a slight addiction to all things paper (and also the three C's of Coffee, Chocolate and Cheese).
My graphic design journey began after college when I moved to Los Angeles, California and got my first "big girl job" working as an in-house designer for a specialty print-house. While living in L.A. I met a cool guy who ended up giving me a ring, and we moved to Houston where I began freelance designing for clients part-time and working as a wedding planner the rest of the time. Then in January 2013, we welcomed our first child into the world and that's when I decided to plunge into my passion for design, paper, and calligraphy full time - hence, Nib and Pixel was born.
